What we store. Your username, email address, and the financial data you enter or sync: account names and balances, transactions, categories, budgets, and matches. If you connect a bank, we store a SimpleFIN access URL (encrypted at rest). We never see, ask for, or store your bank username or password — those stay with the SimpleFIN Bridge and its aggregator, and you can revoke GoBudget's access at any time from your Bridge account.
Email. Your email is used only for verification, password resets, and security alerts. Messages are delivered through Resend, our email processing provider.
What we never do. We do not sell your data, show ads, or share your information with third parties except the processors named above.
Your data is yours. From the Security page you can download a full export of your data (CSV) at any time, and you can permanently delete your account and all associated data.
Security. All traffic is HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, a second factor (passkey or authenticator app) is required on every account, and bank-access credentials are encrypted at rest.
